There are not too many people who know as much about golf gadgets as yours truly. In fact, I know too much. That’s a discussion for another day.
Today I’m happy to post a golf blog on the best Father’s Day golf gadgets. The gadgets below have all been reviewed here on Hooked On Golf Blog. You can click the link to read the full review or the link to buy one directly. I try to make it easy for you.
High End Golf Laser Rangefinder – $464
Though I have not posted my review yet, I can tell you this is one badass golf laser. Quickest and most accurate unit I’ve tested to date. The price is a bit steep, but this is a quality piece.
Budget Golf Laser Rangefinder – $172
The most reasonably priced, accurate laser I’ve tested. A great deal for dad (or mom, or son, or sister, or priest, or rabbi).
Putting Analyzer for iOS or Android – $199
User your smartphone or tablet with this device to hone your putting skills.
Pocket Golf GPS – $99 (no-brainer)
This golf GPS goes in one’s pocket, or on one’s belt. Super light. Clear display. Easy to use. Great for senior golfers.
Golf Practice Chipping Net – $34.99
This chipping net can be used indoors or out. Less than $35? Money well spent.
Game Golf Score/Shot Tracking System – $199
Game Golf was one of Hooked On Golf Blog’s 2014 products of the year. It is an awesome system that tracks every shot and lets you analyze on your computer at home. Shots are plotted over a map and every club distance is measured. Many more cool features included. Very cool golf gadget!
Personal Golf Launch Monitor – $198
Another one of the best products of 2014. This unit shows golf club head speed and all sorts of other great golf launch characteristics. Great for practice and club testing.
Frogger Golf Cart Poncho – $44
Very affordable golf cart cover by Frogger. The “poncho” is so portable it can fit inside a golf bag!
Father’s Day is coming up quickly. It’s time to write up a golf apparel script for dad. Below is my list of Father’s Day apparel suggestions which are guaranteed to make pops the hippest, sharpest dressed golfer in his group. Click the links within the text to go to the original golf blog post.
Golf Belt
Don’t let dad get caught with his pants down. Get him a nice golf belt from Beltology.

Outer Top Layer
Dunning’s golf apparel products are SO good I couldn’t resist putting another on this Father’s Day gift guide. When it is a little too chilly to roll with just a golf polo, this Dunning 1/4 Zip Thermal will take the edge off the cold but not the golf swing.
Socks
Kentwool is hands down the best golf sock maker in our solar system and perhaps beyond. I haven’t received any sock samples from outside our solar system, so I can’t be 100% sure though.
You’ve procrastinated just about long enough, now you’re not sure what to do for the golfer on your Christmas list! Here are a few quick ideas for you, most of which you should be able to pick up just about anywhere golf equipment and accessories are sold, or at your local golf course.
Golf Tees
Fill your golfer’s stocking up with golf tees. Seriously. We golfers can never have too many.
I suggest checking out the Tornado Tee, Champ Zarma Fly Tee, or Frogger Green Monsters.
Ball Towel
I love having a wet/dry towel in my pocket. It is great to have when I get to the green and realize my ball needs some cleaning and my large towel is far away from me off the green.
I suggest a Frogger Amphibian Ball Towel, which should be available in big box golf stores.
Golf Glove
If your golfer wears a glove, pick up one or two. Golf glove wearers can never have enough. If you’re not sure what size or brand to get, sneak a peek inside your golfer’s bag and check out one of his/her gloves in there.
I’m quite fond of Asher Golf Gloves.
Golf Balls
Just like golf tees, we golfers can NEVER have enough golf balls! Not sure what brand your golfer likes? Just like the glove gig above, take a peek in his/her bag and see what balls are in there. If it’s a mixture or you’re still not sure, I’d go with a Bridgestone Golf ball.
If your golfer is a low handicap go for the B330 or B330-S, and for a mid-handicap go for the B330-RX or B330-RXS. Higher handicaps perhaps the Bridgestone E-Series balls would be good.
Lessons from a PGA Pro
A gift that will keep on giving for a long time would be some lessons. Any golfer, no matter the ability level, could greatly benefit with lessons from a PGA Pro.
Head to your golfer’s home course or a nearby course and pick up a gift certificate or buy them a set of lessons.
Golf
While you’re at your local course, pick up the golfer on your list some GOLF. Most courses sell gift certificates, or even multi-round punch cards.
Pick up the golfer on your list a five or 10 golf round punch card, or perhaps some buckets of balls on the practice range.
Bacon
If all else fails above, pick up some bacon for the golfer on your Christmas list.
Why? Because: BACON!
