The caterpillar below was trucking across #13 green Tuesday. He was heading due east for some reason. Even after I picked him/her up and put him back down, he still headed east. I figure I saved him about 30 minutes of walking, as I put him about 50 feet farther east…
This spider below was on the golf cart. I love putting my little Canon camera .5 inches away from the subject and going into macro mode.

HOG SPACE 2010: Overall Standings Through Week 31
Tiger Woods finished the BMW T15, which was only good enough to put him into 42nd place in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The top 30 get into the Tour Championship and a chance at the $10,000,000 prize. So Tiger is out.
Other notables who failed to qualify for the Tour Championship include Rickie Fowler (missed qualifying by eight points), JB Holmes, Anthony Kim, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy, Sean O’Hair, Padraig Harrington, Boo Weekly…

I’m very glad to see Dustin Johnson come through on a Sunday, and do what it takes to win a huge tournament (this week’s BMW a.k.a. round three of the FedEx Cup playoffs).
Losing the opportunity to win the US OPEN and the PGA Championship in one season could have been very damaging to Dustin’s psyche, or it could have toughened him up and given him the experience he needed to deal with the pressure.
Apparently the latter was the case.
Congrats to Dustin. I’m guessing there will be many more victories, including majors coming down the line for him. I can’t wait to watch. I’m officially a DJ fan.
Does anyone at the AP (Associated Press) proof read their articles before they’re syndicated to hundreds of media outlets? I can’t wait to hear more about this new competition between the USA and Europe called the “Ruder Cup.” The Ruder Cup is similar to the Ryder Cup, except the players are much more rude.
What is even more amazing, is that googling “Ruder Cup” comes up with 122,000 results. There are pages and pages of search results linking to sports sites, newspapers and magazines which publish the thing without even noticing the typo in the tile… DUH.
