It’s not too late to sign up for the the Hooked On Golf Blog Fantasy Golf league. The season starts THIS WEEK! You don’t have to sign up this week but if you don’t, you’ll be behind on winning some awesome prizes.
Currently we have 26 players. There are 3 segments to the season and I’m planning on awarding prizes for the winners of each segment, and a big grand prize to the winner. (I’m working on the grand prize but I can’t tell you yet). And I’ve now locked down prizes for each weeks winners…WEEKLY PRIZES FOLKS!
The league is at Yahoo fantasy sports. You’ll need to have a Yahoo ID if you don’t already. Not a big deal. It’s free to sign up for the ID and for the fantasy golf.

Attention site sponsors and equipment manufacturers: Please contact me if you’d like to sponsor the HOFGL league for 2006. I’d like to see a sponsor for first, second and third place at least. Posts or information regarding the league would contain sponsor info such as “Hooked On Fantasy Golf League. Sponsored by xyz golf company.”

Alternate titles for this post:
Tiger is undefeated in 2006
Tiger shoots even par to win, playoff included.
Tiger holds position as players gag around him.
Sergio and Pampling melt down.
The Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines has to be one of the most entertaining tournaments of the year. I don’ t quite know why. Maybe because the course is tough or more of the big stars play in it.
For the last few years the end of the tournament has been awesome. A couple of years ago it was John Daly hitting that amazing bunker shot on 18 and his two playoff opponents gagging on their putts. Last year on 18 Charles Howell could have won the tournament but his approach careened off the flag stick into the water. This year we get a 3 way playoff between Tiger, Jose Maria Olazabal and Nathan Green. Tiger wins the playoff by making two pars and watching his opponents make mistakes.
Browsing my HUGE golf blogroll I found an article and link which sparked my attention big time. Thanks to Golf With A Minnesota Twist for the link to a new golf blog. Yes I know, golf blogs are popping up faster than acne on a 13 year old girl these days. That’s why I started up The Golf Server. That’s another story…
This golf blog is different, and I see it as a very cool concept. It is the golf blog of The Raven at South Mountain, which is a golf course in Phoenix.
Man, could this really be the 600th post here?
On the 8th hole at Torrey Pines today Sergio Garcia launched a 7-iron into a hospitality tent. Sergio is about the best ball striker on tour so that is definitely an odd event. The kicker is that the hospitality tent was for Michelob Ultra, one of Sergio’s sponsors. The irony of it all…
After seeing just a server directory for quite some time there’s finally something at MJonGolf. It appears to be a default template for a photoblog. Perhaps we have an MJonGolf photoblog in the works…
