Greetings from the media room at the Byron Nelson Championship. I’ve been talking about it, so here’s exact crazy two week HOG World Tour schedule.
Monday, May 25
Prep for travels. Pack. Wrap up loose ends.
Tuesday, May 26
Drive from Salt Lake to Las Vegas. This allows me to make a short one hour drive on my return from Vegas to Mesquite, NV.
Wednesday, May 27
6:00am flight (4:00am wakeup call boo!) from Vegas to Dallas, land in Dallas 10:40am. Catch ride for airport to hotel across the street from the Bryon Nelson Championship venue. Check into hotel and head to venue.
Leg #1 of the current HOG World Tour is complete. I’m blogging from Battista’s Hole In The Wall Italian Restaraunt in Las Vegas via my iPad.
Battista’s is one of my fav places to chomp in Vegas. Can’t wait for Gordy the accordion player to play me his rendition of The Godfather.
I’ll crash in a cheap room tonight and then jump on a 6:00am flight to Dallas for the Byron Nelson Championship.
I’ve been hearing that the weather in Dallas is very bad, with tornado warnings. Hope that weather is gone by 10:40am when I land.
I’m leaving for the longest HOG World Tour excursion yet, first stop being an overnight in Vegas which is my air hub for this leg of the HWT.
Since I’ll be doing so many live tweets for the HP Byron Nelson Championship and other tweets from the road at the Mesquite Amateur etc, I’ve added a live feed widget to the left column here. Now you can check BOTH my twitter feeds by just coming here and reading the entries in the left column!
Stay tuned.
This is a bizarre tweet on twitter from Tiger Woods.
Today Tiger has a press conference about the AT&T National at Aronomink and apparently is not interested in entertaining questions about his leg, the one question everyone even remotely interested in professional golf would like to have answered.
UPDATE: The first two questions were directly about the leg, and for the first 15 minutes of the interview 90% of the questions were about Tiger’s leg and health.
I’m tying up some loose ends before I jump in the HOG Wagon and head south for the most insane two week period in HOG World Tour history. One of the loose ends to tie up, is getting the Oasis Canyons Course image gallery uploaded.
I stopped by and played the Oasis Canyons in Mesquite Nevada a couple of weeks ago in preparation for the Mesquite Amateur coming up next week. Click the image above to see over 100 images of the course.
