Today is the last of a four day golf trip I do every Winter with about 20 of my closest pals. I’ll be playing 18 and then driving 4-5 hours home to HOG command central with some reports on new golf gadgets, clubs and accessories!
A new golf blog has popped up. This time it’s another blog from a golf equipment manufacturer. More and more golf manufacturers are starting to blog, presumably with the hopes of spreading a grass roots level word about their product. Lately we’ve had Alpha Golf, Golf Research In Play and now it’s The Wedge Guy. The Wedge Guy blog is the blog of Terry Koehler, president of Eidolon Golf.
Terry knows wedges. He makes some very cool wedges with great features. The Eidolon wedges have milled faces and a very cool V bottom which allows you to change the bounce and performance of the club by opening or closing the face.
If you look at the “In my bag” module here on the lower right, you’ll see Eidolon listed as my 52 and 56 degree wedges. I’ve had the Eidolons as my primary wedges for a long time…probably close to two years.
Click here for my Eidolon wedge review.
Good luck to Terry and The Wedge Guy Blog. Welcome to the blogosphere.
Here are the results from week 8 of fantasy golf. I’m getting ready to take a 4 day golf trip so I’ll elaborate more when I get some time…

Found a new golf blog today called In Golf We Trust. I like their layout and they have a sense of humor. Check ’em out.
I like this “Will it blend?” video they found:
Good grief that video has been viewed 2,365,228 times. I especially like their comment on this video: “Next week Corey Pavin’s head.”
For a while now a “guy” I met somewhere online has been insisting Ernie Els was switching to Callaway Golf. I’m never scared to post rumors here but for some reason I didn’t. I just saw Ernie as a Titleist guy forever, like Davis Love III.
Here’s yesterday’s news from PGA.com showing that Ernie and Titleist parted ways.
Apparently I’d better listen the next time that guy gives me a juicy rumor because it looks like Ernie DID switch to Callaway.
Will he still play the ProV1x or switch to the HX Tour or HX Tour 56? What about the shoes? Will he still have a different logo on his hat? Will he do what Phil Mickelson did, and switch the day before some huge event? (Phil switched right before the Ryder Cup).
