New HOG category added! TRAVEL

I’ve got a spare minute or two to check in from my blogger retreat in Monterey. I’ve been having a great time here with a bunch of other bloggers, including Ed from The Golf Blog and Chris from Eagle, Par, Birdie.

My friends from Mazda gave me an MX-5 to tour around so naturally the first place I went was Pebble Beach! Above is a shot of me in my MX-5 and below is a shot of me next to the U.S. Open trophy in the Pebble Beach pro shop!

Gotta run… I’m off to the race track now. Stay tuned for a TON of pictures and video.

HOG hits the road to Monterey

I’ve got a good reason my DVR is working overtime this weekend on the Tour Championship as I’ll be in Monterey, CA for three days. Myself and several other bloggers get the opportunity to go on a great weekend in wine country. There are two other golf bloggers and several food & wine type bloggers I’ll be hanging with for the weekend.

I’ll be golfing there, but I can’t remember where! Oh and I’ll be just a few minutes from Pebble Beach and Spyglass so I’ll be dropping by there to check them out!

More details when I settle in and find a wireless connection for my laptop on the road.

Next post from Monterey!

Due to weather, play has been suspended for the first round of the Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods and Phil Michelson barely started their rounds. Tiger has to wait to attempt his nine footer for birdie on hole #1…

Tiger Woods to take a 2.5 month break after Presidents Cup

Tiger Woods won’t be playing in the Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda. He’ll be replaced by Jim Furyk.

After playing in the Presidents Cup in a couple of weeks Tiger will be taking a 2.5 month break from golf, to rest and spend time with his wife and new baby. Wish I could play 15 tour events, take 2.5 months off at a time, and still rake in over $100 Million per year.

Tiger will return at the Target World Challenge in December.
