My buddy who was going to take me to The Masters but had his tickets taken away has been crushed. I was crushed too. I was looking forward to going for my first time.
I ran into my buddy yesterday and he had a small gift for me since he knows I love Masters merchandise. I don’t have much stuff, but I do have a Masters flag, Masters head covers, Masters calendar, Masters balls, Masters hats etc. My buddy gave me an old Masters practice round badge from 1987. 87 was the year Larry Mize had the famous chip in to win. Very cool.
After TPC week is over I’ll be hitting The Masters hard here with Masters stories. I’ll also be visiting my pal’s “Masters room” in his house where he has over 50 years of Masters history in merchandise, tickets etc.
With the new 3-ball putters starting to gain in popularity I thought I’d put my engineering skills to the test. If three balls is better than two, then certainly fourteen is better than three. I’ve got the prototype done and pictured below.

Photo blogs are just like blogs only rather than text with occasional pictures, they’re mainly pictures. DUH!
With so many great photo opportunities in golf and on golf courses, and the new photo blog fad, I predict the next big growth in golf blogs to be golf photo blogs.
Hooked On Golf Blog has a HUGE photo gallery already with OVER 1200 PICTURES in it now! It’s not exactly in a photo blog format, but perhaps some day I’ll set it up.
So now I’m going to do my first linking to golf photo blogs. Mark this day in your calendar.
First of course is my good pal EatGolf.com. Eat is in sunny California and gets many opportunities to attend professional tour events and take pics. Since he got his new camera the pic quality is awesome. Link: Eat’s photo blog.
