You gotta be kidding me

I just received a press release for an awesome new product: The Cooler Caddie (the yellow part of the picture, not the cooler).

This product is “one of the premier golf accessories today.”

Puhlease! Is this serious? Another golfblogger.com’s ridiculous item of the week candidate.

You know what else I like is how great the photos are. It’s nice to see the unit in action, on a tile floor in some guy’s dimly lit basement. Their advertising and promotional budget is obviously only rivaled by the incredible amount of money they spent on R&D.

How many drivers for Phil Mickelson this week?

One driver in play for Phil this week

Phil Mickelson had a special driver made for this week’s U.S. Open. It’s shorter and has a more stable head.

Though he has this new driver, he’s now leaning toward using the “fade driver” he used to win The Masters this year.

One driver, 4 wedges.

I’m not too bright. Jim is smarter than I thought.

Well I’ve been taking pictures of golf courses now for almost 2 years. Tee shots, greens, fairways, trees, lakes. It’s all very pretty.

But I’ve gotten the whole thing wrong. JIM my buddy over at mygolfdomain.com is obviously much smarter. He’s taking pictures of beer cart girls. DOH! Why didn’t I think of that??!!

My sister site and current pet project The Golf Space has now had 51,256 visitors in roughly two months of being open. Not too shabby.

Now this is visitors and not “hits.” Hits would be hundreds of thousands and perhaps even over a million.

If you haven’t yet, join up there and try it out. It’s all free and you can blog, post photos, track your golf scores, meet other golfers/business/courses and more!
