Masters season is always full of fun golf gear releases and announcements. Even more special this year is the Tigers Back 22 limited edition golf ball, celebrating the return of Tiger Woods to golf after his horrific auto accident. Thanks to Bridgestone for sending me a sleeve. They’re sweet.
The ball is a special edition of the Bridgestone Tour B XS ball. The Tour B XS is a professional ball, designed for swing speeds of 105mph and over, and for those players who require “tour” spin.
Wednesday at The Masters is the Par-3 Tournament. Here’s a random shot from the last time I was at the par-3 course. The course is a beauty. It has a nice lake and even a boat and a boat dock! Has anyone ever taken this boat for a spin? Maybe Tiger Woods?
Today’s Masters image of the day is a Masters edition Chocolate Mini MoonPie. I’ve never been addicted to anything or done crack, but I think this may be close. Last time I was at the Masters I bought about 12 of these and took them home. Damn.
Welcome to Masters week! It’s the best week of the year. I will be posting some random Masters pics each day this week, but not the usual photos of the 12th hole or the 13th green. Let’s do some more “odd” photos of Masters things not normally seen… Here’s your Monday edition:
Gear alert. Here’s a first look at the new Golf Pride CPX golf grips. These are the softest performance golf grips that Golf Pride has ever made.
On first impression I really like the feel. It was nice of them to send in 3 samples. I guess I’ll install those on my 3-club rig and test ’em out! 🙂
What? Don’t you have a 3-club rig?
