Yesterday’s blog post about the Masters and LIV Golf ChatGPT fail wasn’t the only ChatGPT fail. I asked the artificial intelligence engine about some of the Tuesday happenings at the Masters Tournament. Here’s a portion of what I got back:
Tuesday also marks the start of the Par 3 Contest, which is a fun and lighthearted competition played on a smaller course on the Augusta National Golf Club grounds. This event brings together players, their families, and caddies for a day of friendly competition, and is a fan favorite each year.
Another exciting activity on Tuesday is the annual Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals. This event is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7-15, who compete in driving, chipping, and putting competitions. The winners of each age division are awarded trophies and have the opportunity to meet some of the world’s top professional golfers.
Anyone who knows the slightest about the Masters Tournament knows the Par-3 contest is on WEDNESDAY. Not to mention the Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals aren’t even during Masters week.
AI may soon take over the world and destroy humanity, but it won’t win an easy Masters trivia contest.
What does OpenAI/ChatGPT know about golf? Not much apparently. This morning I asked it about LIV Golf players and the Masters Tournament and this is what it came up with:
The Liv Golf Players, a group of female professional golfers who are set to launch their own tour later this year, have been making headlines for their impressive performances on the course. Led by six-time major champion Lydia Ko, the Liv Golf Players have been pushing the boundaries of women’s golf and challenging the status quo. It will be interesting to see if any of these players make a splash at this year’s Masters Tournament.
That’s some hilarious shiznit right there, my friends.
It’s MASTERS WEEK! WOOOT! It’s that time of the year again when golf enthusiasts from around the world gather to witness one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world – the Masters Tournament. As the first major of the year, the tournament always attracts some of the biggest names in golf, including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, and a host of other talented players.
Will Tiger Break Jack’s record? I might break your jaw if you ask that question one more time…
Another player to keep an eye on this year is Rory McIlroy, who is looking to complete his career Grand Slam by winning the Masters. McIlroy has come close to winning the tournament in the past, finishing in the top ten in each of the last six years. With his skill and determination, McIlroy is a definite threat to win this year’s tournament.
Phil Mickelson, a three-time Masters champion, is another player to watch out for this year. Although he is now in his fifties, Mickelson has shown that he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level. With his experience and knowledge of the Augusta National Golf Club, Mickelson is a dark horse who could surprise everyone and win his fourth green jacket.
LIV Golf players will be in action. Will there be any tension between Liv and PGA TOUR players? Will Liv golf players be in contention, or perhaps even win the event. That would be quite interesting to say the least.
The Course
As always, the Augusta National Golf Club has undergone some changes in preparation for this year’s tournament. One of the most significant changes is the lengthening of the par-5 13th hole, which now measures 585 yards. This change will test the players’ accuracy and distance off the tee and could prove to be a decisive factor in the outcome of the tournament. Will anyone try to cut the corner now?
Also changed is the completely revamped par-3 course. Wednesday’s Par-3 Tournament will be the first time we get to see the changes in action.
Dark Horse
Every year, there is always a dark horse who surprises everyone by playing above expectations and contending for the green jacket. This year, that dark horse could be anyone, but players like Cameron Smith, who finished second in last year’s tournament, or Viktor Hovland, who has been playing exceptionally well in recent weeks, could be the ones to watch.
The Masters Tournament is always an exciting event for golf fans around the world, and this year’s tournament promises to be no exception. With so many talented players competing and changes to the course, the tournament is sure to provide plenty of drama and excitement for golf fans everywhere.
Will Tiger Break Jack’s record? I might break your jaw if you ask that question one more time…
Big deal in the golf world! Tiger Woods is teeing it up on the PGA Tour! This should be interesting to watch. He’ll be playing the first to rounds with Justin Thomas and Rory McIlory. What a group. How will he do? It’s well known he’s not a fan of Riviera Country Club and has a hard time reading the greens. That’s one reason why he has traditionally avoided playing this gig.

The heathered charcoal color gives it a modern, sleek look that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The shirt also features a non-iron, moisture-wicking fabric that helps keep you cool and dry throughout the day. Overall, The Allen is a versatile and stylish piece that is perfect for any occasion, from the office to a night out on the town.
The fabric of this garment is super soft. I’m excited to try it out. First “testing” will be tomorrow. We’re snowed-in, so it won’t be on the course, but just a hang around the house and out on the town Saturday deployment. Stay tuned for the full review after a few wear/wash cycles!
