Those of you who have followed this web site know that I take my golf product reviews seriously. I don’t just swing a club three times and write a two paragraph review about it. I play it for weeks and dozens of rounds. I don’t just wear a pair of golf shoes two times and write an uninformed review about them. I wear them for 30-40 rounds. I pride myself in the time I spend and the attention to detail I take when reviewing golf products and my reviews can be several thousand words. I take pride in the fact that 99% of the product photos here are original, and not provided to me or taken from some other web site.
This review is perhaps one I’ve spent the most time on; testing, evaluating, pondering, experimenting, tweaking, pushing the limits. This product is one I tested every day for months straight, usually in the morning. I evaluated this product in every type of condition the environment presented. Sometimes I tested it out in the evening or even a few times per day. Other times I may have I tested it out after having some very hot Mexican food the day before or perhaps those times when I’d had some chicken the day before which wasn’t quite fresh.
Why is my putting so good this season?
Potty Putter
OMG Robert Garrigus is completely flaming out. NOOOO!!!!! All you have to do is make DOUBLE BOGEY to win! NOOOOO!!!!! This is tough to watch. Garrigus ends up making a triple bogey on the final to enter a playoff.
3 way playoff
Now we have a 3-way playoff between Robert Garrigus, Robert Karlsson and Lee Westwood. Lee is in the driver’s seat.
OH nooooooo. Garrigus’s tee shot, a 3-wood is now dead behind a tree.
And then there were two
Garrigus is out (bogey) and Karlsson and Westwood continue the playoff. Garrigus was +4 for the 18th today.
Wake me up when the playoff is over…
6:47pmET – We are now on the 4th playoff hole…
Lee Westwood wins playoff
Lee Westwood wins on the 4th playoff hole.
I’ve got some cool new casual golf shirts in my extensive wardrobe by Kibo Wear. “Kibo” in Japanese means “hope.” Now that I have these very comfortable shirts available, I “hope” to wear them often because of how great they feel and how fun the designs are.
Designs
Kibo’s designs are very cool and a have a bit of an “Asian hippie” flare to them. As far as I can tell there are currently 11 different designs, from the Volkswagen bus golf cart (pictured) to the literal translation of “Club Face.” My two current Kibos are the VW golf cart and “Eagle” which is an interesting piece of art. Eagle is a golf ball with eagle wings, which is snapping a golf tee in half. Right.
Styles & fabric
Kibo’s current lineup includes T-shirts, bamboo long sleeve and bamboo shirts. I’ve got other bamboo fabric shirts and I can tell you that these are far softer and more comfortable than cotton. They have a very silky soft feel to them.
The standard tees are 100% cotton and the bamboo t-shirts and long sleeves are made from 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton.
Conclusion
Having only launched the company on May 2 of this year, Kibo is off to a great start. It starts with a great and unique product line and Kibo has achieved that. Best wishes to my pals at Kibo.
