Rough start at the PGA Show
I’m here in Orlando in the press room at the PGA Show. I got in late last night.
To my horror, I discovered that all of my contacts and appointments for the show hadn’t synced to my laptop. So I have no idea where, who, when, what or how. I remember a few of my appointments and the rough times, but if any of you are wondering if I blew you off, email me and I’ll get to you asap.
Also, something in the air system of my luxurious room apparently doesn’t agree with my eyes. My eyes are so bloodshot I look like I’ve been partying in Vegas for a week. Speaking of the room, the discount rate I got over the phone seems to have disappeared and they’re trying to bill me 2x what I was quoted. I’ll deal with that later.
I’m resetting, having a coffee and getting ready to hit the floor…
HOG World Tour in Chicago
I’m pretty sure I’m the only person in Chicago wearing shorts.
I have a short layover here, enough to sample the local Chicago beer “312.” Not bad.
Can’t type much because I’m using my iPhone to post. I did figure out how to dump images from my camera to my MacBook then to my iphone. I’ll upload a pic of the windy city soon.

HOG World Tour – PGA Show Travel Day

I’m getting my last few things together for the PGA Show and heading to the airport late this morning. I’ll be traveling all day and arriving in Orlando tonight around 10PM.
I’ll be getting started bright and early tomorrow morning at the show, so stay tuned for live blogging, pictures and videos. I already have some big time people in the golf world lined up to talk to so it should be a ton of fun.

Congrats to Pat Perez
It took Pat Perez seven years to do it but he finally won on the PGA Tour. I’m sure Pat’s blog will have some great commentary, after the partying has ended. See 2:09 in the video below.
Yesterday’s final round at the Bob Hope was very entertaining and Perez ended it in style with an incredible 6-iron over water on the 18th, giving him an easy eagle putt which he drained to go -33. Yes -33.
Steve Stricker was looking at a victory until he had some problems with quadruple and triple bogeys. Mike Weir looked great but didn’t quite go low enough.
For winning Pat gets a measly $918K. Hey that’s $27,818.19 per stroke under par. At that rate I’d try to make some birdies myself…
