
Man I watched Arnold Palmer hit the honorary tee shot this morning at The Masters and I had tears running down my face. I don’t cry very often–last time was when Spock died in Star Trek II the Wrath of Khan.

You are a fortunate person, indeed, if you can begin each day accepting the fact that during that day there will be ups and downs, good breaks and bad ones, disappointments, surprises, unexpected turns of events. At the same time, wise golfers have learned to accept those adverse conditions of the golf course as representative of real-life challenges.
