Tiger dusts the field at the Grand Slam

tigerTiger did his “Michael Jordan in the NBA finals against the Jazz” imitation when he overcame an ankle injury and a stomach virus to win the ’05 Grand Slam. His closest competitor was Phil Mickelson who was 7 shots back.

A 7 shot victory is pretty huge when you consider this was only a 36 hole event.

He gets $400K in “unofficial” money, but I bet it spends the same as the official money.

Title that didn’t make the cut: “Tiger gets leid in Hawaii”
