Let’s hope that the arrival of the 2021 Galway Bay Raingear Line to HOG World Headquarters signals a change in the weather for the better here in northern Utah.  We are in a severe drought.  We are breaking high temp records faster than Bryson DeChambeau’s ball speed. Some rain, and lots of it, would be welcomed and is sorely needed here. And now I have some gear to test out, so it is even more important!

All-Weather Unlined Pant

Front

I have a gray pair of the 2020 version of these pants and they are fantastic. In the spring, when the snow was melting and temps not super high, I used these as mountain biking pants. They were awesome until I caught them in the chain and sliced off a chunk of them.

Back

These pants use a proprietary “Hydro-Flex 32” fabric – a breathable stretch fabric that’s waterproof and windproof.

All-Weather Long Sleeve Jacket

Front

The All-Weather Long Sleeve Jacket also features the Hydro-Flex 32 fabric, which keeps the rain and wind out, but allows the golfer to move freely and comfortably.

Back

The collar of the jacket is smartly designed with a high back to keep rain out, and lower in the front where it isn’t needed as much.

Stay Tuned and Pray for Rain

I’ll be testing these items out as soon as we get some rain! Hopefully that’s very soon. I’ll post my full review following testing.

I’m thrilled to add some new, properly sized rain/weather pants to my now misfit wardrobe. Lose 45-50 pounds and you’ll find none of your clothes fit anymore.  Thankfully I’ve got the Galway Bay All-Weather Unlined Pant in for review.

These Pants are made from a breathable stretch fabric that is waterproof and windproof.  They’re incredibly comfortable, making these a great choice even when there’s no wind or rain in the forecast. I wore them today in fact. 75 degrees and sunny.

The style of these pants is sharp, clean and classy.  They could be worn on the golf course, on the ski slopes, or out on the town.

I’ve got a few more wearings and more testing before writing my final review so stay tuned.

I have a bit of an apparel problem.  I’ve dropped over 40 pounds in the last year. So 90% of my amazing golf apparel no longer fits me anymore.  I’ve got some awesome outerwear that feels like I just put on a car cover.  I’m on my way to resolving this problem with a properly sized Galway Bay Apparel All-Weather Jacket!  Check it out.

This jacket features “Hydro-Flex 32 fabric.” According to Galway Bay this material is the most breathable waterproof technology in the industry.  The material is strong but designed to flex and move with the golfer.  Nothing quite as irritating as apparel that binds, pulls, and restricts the golf swing.

Other features include waterproof sealed seams. waterproof zippers, quiet fabric, and light weight.

Testing Soon

Let it rain.  It’s April.  Let’s have some April showers so I can begin my on-course testing.

Stay tuned for my full review, and watch for the first look of the Galway Bay Apparel all-weather unlined pants coming up shortly.
