President Gerald Ford died yesterday at the age of 93. The full story is here.
Just a couple of weeks ago I was going through some old photos and I found a picture of when I MET President Ford. I’m the little kid just above Ford’s hand in this picure. My mom is above me, my brother is the long blond haired guy, my aunt is in the dark glasses behind my brother, my dad is lower left (glasses), my uncle is lower right and Senator Jake Garn is between my uncle and Ford.
Here’s to President Ford. May he rest in peace.
Tiger Woods won the 2006 AP male athlete of the year award over San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson.
LaDainian Tomlinson is the most amazing back I’ve seen in the NFL since Barry Sanders. He’s clearly a man among boys in the NFL. I’m not a Chargers fan at all, but then LT is playing I’m watching from now on.

Walked the back 9 at one of my home courses today, River Oaks. This is the course I live next to. The catch is there was a foot of snow on the ground. I wore some killer snow boots and walked right down the fairways. It was sweet.
My cousin in NYC who is 6 days younger than me sent me some cool stuff for Christmas. I feel like a schmuck now because I didn’t get him anything. We’ve never gotten each other anything before so this was kind of out of the blue. Hopefully he doesn’t read this post or he’ll know I opened my Christmas present early.
The present he got me should be very interesting, being that I seem to be “involved” in the golf business in some way or another. It’s Greg Norman’s book “The Way of the Shark. Lessons on Golf, Business and Life.”
Greg Norman and I have a lot in common. We’re both incredibly handsome, our golf swings look very similar, we both have tons of dough and our change in marital status just cost us both a fortune. Well, he’s actually got me on the first 3.
I’m a pretty slow reader (blogging too much), but a book report will follow one of these years.
