HOG World Tour – Los Cabos – Travel Day

Today is another case of “being a golf blogger doesn’t suck.”

The high temperature at home today will be somewhere around 16F.  But I won’t be looking out the window at the two feet of snow on the ground, wishing I could golf.  I’ll be looking out the window of a US Airways jet as I make my way to Los Cabos, Mexico.  I’ll be there for four days doing golf travel reviews on some resorts as well as evaluating two area golf courses.

The Courses

Golf course #1 which I will be evaluating tomorrow will be Palmilla Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus design.  Golf course #2 is Club Campestre San Jose Golf Course, a Nicklaus design as well.

I’ve played many Nicklaus designs, so I’m fairly sure I’ll be needing to work on my fade and my sand game when I hit the range tomorrow morning.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Salt Lake City, UT. (December 1, 2010) – Hooked On Golf Blog, the #1 blog in golf, reached the 3000 golf blog post milestone on November 30, 2010 with an article about a golf babe.

Hooked On Golf Blog, founded in 2004, is one of the interweb’s original golf blogs and has been a source of golf articles, golf gear reviews, golf course reviews, golf travel reviews and also the home to possibly the web’s largest golf-exclusive photo gallery, containing 13,000 images.

“If you write 3000 golf articles, one of them is bound to be good, right? OKAY perhaps not.  But do I get some sort of prize then?  Where are the babes?” ~ Hooked On Golf Blog founder Tony Korologos, self proclaimed “world’s foremost golf web geek” and “golf media guru.”

I’m so ahead of the times…  Wait a minute.  Hey this is golf blog post 3000!!!  I’ll have to toot my horn on that after this post, which will be post 3001.

Back in 2008 I had the pleasure of interviewing Big Break’s Blair Alana O’Neal, a.k.a. beautiful golf babe.  Blair is once again competing on Big Break and is vying for 1st place in the final episode of the Dominican Republic series which airs on The Golf Channel TONIGHT.  I’ll be at band practice but my DVR is on the gig and I’ll be watching it later.

Too bad for Blair that I’m married now.  I’m sure she’s feeling a bit sore that she didn’t take me when she had the opportunity.  🙂
