Yesterday I ran into My buddy Phil, the local TaylorMade sales representative. He was making the rounds to all of the local dealers, showing them the hot new lines for 2011 including the white R11 drivers and fairways. I managed to get them in my hands long enough to take a few pictures.

Davis Love III - 2012 USA Ryder Cup Team Captain
As I previously posted back on December 16th of last year, Davis Love III has officially been named captain of the 2012 Ryder Cup USA team.
Big year for Davis so far. First he switched equipment and now Ryder Cup captain.
There has been no official word yet on what rain gear DLIII will choose for team USA.
The 2012 Ryder Cup will be held at Medinah Country Club, near Chicago, IL.
No big surprise here, but it is now official that Tiger Woods’ first tournament for 2011 is next week in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

Tiger has won his last five starts at Torrey Pines, including the mega-exciting playoff victory over Rocco Mediate in the 2008 US Open.
Many people are contacting me and very anxious to find out about the 2011 fantasy golf season. The season will tee off on February 10th at the AT&T Pebble Beach PGA Tour stop. We should have a practice round set up the prior week.
We will be using the same fantasy provider as last year, Kerplookee. Sign up information will be posted soon.
