At the 2011 PGA Show I interview my buddy Simon from druh belts and buckles. Simon was unsatisfied with the available belts while playing on the European Tour, so he started his own belt line. Three years later, he’s got a successful company who has the #1 player in the world, Lee Westwood, wearing them. In the interview Simon suggests that a person near the booth should put one of his belts on in hopes to help him get laid. Ahem….

Riviera round one already fun to watch

The broadcast from the Northern Trust Open at Riviera is underway. There are some great groupings to watch.

Anthony Kim, Fred Couples and Bubba Watson are hacking up the tough little 308 yard par-4 10th hole, shooting a cumulative +2 even though they all tried to drive the green from the tee.

The group behind that featured pairing includes three of the top 10 players in the world, Phil Mickelson, Paul Casey and Luke Donald. They’re teeing off now.

Dustin Johnson was late to his tee time due to a communication issue. He was penalized two shots, and ended up finishing with a 73, two over par on this par 71.
