Gimme A Ruling golf rules game
The 2nd item on my Golfer’s 12 days of Christmas list is Gimme A Ruling. GAR is a “Trivial Pursuit” type of game which makes learning the rules of golf fun, interesting and easy to remember.

HenkaQ makes golf balls that change colors when exposed to sunlight. The base color of the balls is white but that can change to purple, yellow or varying shades of blue when the ultraviolet rays of the Sun hit them.
The surface of the balls has the same photo chromic compound which changing sunglasses use to get darker in brighter light. It’s nice to know that the core of your golf ball is protected from skin cancer.
Fred: “Hey Bob I think I found your ball! What color is it?”
Bob: “Yellow”
Fred: “Nope, this one is purple…”
HenkaQ also makes a fluorescent golf ball for night use.
Introducing the HOG Golfer’s 12 days of Christmas.
For the next 12 days I’m going to be featuring my “must have” golf gift list. I’m starting the 12 days on December 1st. Why? So you can show your spouse and friends the list and they’ll still have time to get you what’s on the list for Christmas! The items on this list will all be items I’ve covered in the last year and I’ll include links to my articles on them.

I was doing my daily rounds on all the golf blogs (as many as I could at least) and found out via The Undaunted Duffer that it’s St. Andrews day…
John Daly withdrew from a silly season tourney, the Bard Capital Challenge due to a broken hand.
He broke his hand 400 miles down the road from my place in Mesquite, Nevada while playing at the Duff Challenge.
I hope that’s how it happened.
