Maybe broadcasting your itunes library is not a good idea

There are some widgets that show what you are currently listening to in iTunes on your instant messenger account. But given what I’ve seen some people listening to maybe that’s not a great idea:

Here Wie go again…. yawn

Michelle Wie is going to try to make the cut on the PGA Tour again this weekend at the John Deer Classic. I wish she’d do it and either get it over with or stop trying. It’s getting a little old.

Oh, has she won one tiny little tournament on the LPGA Tour yet? No?

If she makes the cut the media will go crazy and it will be a big buzz…. If she doesn’t? Yawn…

This article states Wie has enough talent to win on the PGA Tour. Well I’m going to have to disagree for now. She doesn’t have a solid enough putting game to win on the PGA Tour. Her weakest area though is her mental game. She can definitely improve both these areas. Only after that improvement would she have a chance.

Hernia update

Nice to have my personal medical issues here for thousands of people per day to see….

Anyway, I don’t have a hernia yet. I have the beginnings of one. I had the really fun “turn your head and cough” exam today… Lots o’ fun. The least the doc could have done was give me a cigarette when he was done. “Was it as good for you as it was for me?”

Turns out a hernia is where your intestine goes through a hole in your muscle tissue and actually sticks out in your….uh… family jewels area. I don’t have this but I do have a weakening of the initial area and if I do any more lifting I WILL have a full blown hernia.

Prognosis

Doc says if I cough or sneeze I need to support the area with my hand. He says if I take it easy for a couple of weeks with no heavy lifting it will heal. He also said that “pushing” is the cause and as long as I don’t “bear down” I can do whatever I want, including GOLF. Whew!

Unfortunately I think I have a hernia

This sucks MAJOR. I moved last week. Unfortunately I moved some very heavy stuff I shouldn’t have and I believe I’m now paying the price.

I’ve never had a hernia before, but this has to be one. I can’t cough, sneeze or blow my nose without an extreme, sharp, burning pain just under my belly button. It’s getting worse, especially after I played drums in a recording session this evening.

So far it doesn’t hurt my golf swing but I’m afraid I’m going to need to go under the knife very soon. Calling the doc tomorrow.

🙁
