Greetings from beautiful Midway, Utah and Soldier Hollow Golf Course.  I’ve been on the course up here at the 87th USGA Public Links Championship, shooting some photos of many players and the golf course.  I have many photos to process, but I’m posting some teaser pictures in the HOG 87th Publinks gallery.  Below is a shot from the highest point on the course, looking down at the Heber valley.

Quote Of The Day

Below Taishe Negishi from Hilo, Hawaii found some deep rough left of the 195 yard par-3 5th hole pictured below.

After looking at his ball in waist deep rough he turned to the nearest USGA rules official.

Negisshi: “Do they ever consider cutting this deep grass?”

Rules official: “No.”

Following his tee shot on the next hole, Negishi gave me two peace signs and a smile despite making bogey on the previous hole. Good times.
