Play has been suspended due to high winds (over 40mph) at St. Andrews and the Open Championship.  The winds are so high that balls won’t stay still in their original positions on the greens.  Once the winds subside, play will resume.

A few scores of note

Louis Oosthuizen shot a 67 today and sits three shots ahead (-12) of yesterday’s leader Rory McIlroy.  Mark Calcavecchia shot a nice 67 in these conditions to move up to 3rd on the leaderboard at -7.  Paul Casey (69 today) is tied for 4th with Lee Westwood (71) at -6.  Tiger Woods is on the course at -5 but hasn’t finished the first hole.  Phil Mickelson finished his 2nd round and sits at even par.

Cut

The current cut line is even par, but in these conditions it is anticipated that the cut will move to +1 or +2.
