$4.00 per gallon gas has apparently taken it’s first casualty, Golf For Women Magazine. Editor Susan Reed had some nice parting words.

“I’m proud of how our team has covered these issues: with honesty, integrity, intelligence and humor. We’ve given you our passion and our hearts, and you’ve given us yours…

I wish I could wave a wand and change the economy so that every worthy magazine could survive; unfortunately that’s not the case.”
