Being Thanksgiving and the fact that I don’t have to go to turkey dinner for another 3 hours I thought I’d start up the first annual Hooked On Golf Blog Turkey Awards. If you have some other turkeys I’m not thinking of comment them in!

Michael Bamberger busting Michelle Wie for an illegal drop.
Daly misses a 3 foot putt to hand Tiger the WGC-Amex.
Retief Goosen starts having Sunday meltdowns.
Singh has to bail due to a ping pong injury.
Nike names a driver “Sasquatch”..What’s next, Nessie?
Johnny Miller refuses to sign an autograph for my daughter.
Marc O’Hair is an idiot.
The boredom of the bridges.
Travel Golf for their cat fights between Jay Flemma and Robert Thompson.
Weather delays on the PGA Tour.
David Duval earned $7,630 in 20 events. That’s 260th place, and $381 per event.
Despite being #1 on tour in GIR at 71.8%, Sergio Garcia is 196th out of 202 in putting.
Corey Pavin is last on tour in driving distance at 258.7. 15 LPGA players are longer.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2005 HOG Turkey Awards.

Don’t have any you didn’t think of but I did enjoy most of these; which tells me I need to read this more often.

  2. […] e’s only one person I can think of who isn’t really doing well with it though: Sergio Garcia. Click here for the review of the Monza Corza.
