Since I’m living on a golf course for a few months I’ve gotten into the habit of doing a “ball search” every few days. It’s good bonding time for me and my boy to go out to the course after all the players are done and whack some balls around.
This course is THE tightest course EVER. I’m not kidding. There are holes with hazards down both sides 5 feet outside the fairway. Most of the holes are surrounded by hazard. And the wind blows like hell here quite often.
So there must be tens of thousands of balls out here just waiting to be found. My boy and I found 107 tonight in about a half an hour after dinner. Out of 100 balls I’d say you get about 30 “premium” balls.
So for the next 2-3 months I’ll be living here, I’ll be on a continuous ball hunt to stock my reserves.
Today’s take: 107 balls, 1 chipping club (deep in the forest)
This week’s take: 213 balls
