The BBC reported this morning that Seve Ballesteros did in fact have his surgery today to remove a brain tumor.  They reported that he was conscious after the 12 hour operation.

Other reports I’ve read say that not all of the tumor was removed.

Once again, I send my best wishes to Seve and hope for a full recovery.

seve ballesterosArguably there hasn’t been a better golfer at getting out of trouble than Seve Ballesteros. Seve provided years of passion and entertainment on the golf course for millions of fans.

The latest news on Seve is that he has a brain tumor which was discovered after he passed out today. They’re doing a biopsy to determine what course of action to take next.

I sincerely hope Seve is able to perform another Houdini (or should I say Criss Angel these days) like escape from this possible life threatening hazard.

Evil cold wet white stuff falls out of the sky

snow golfI was not too happy when I looked out my window this morning. There was this very strange white stuff on the ground. It was very cold and wet. There was more of it falling from the sky. It is called snow.

Yes, snow on October 12th. Today marks the first post of my yearly, winter long whining about the weather. The forecast high for today is 39.

Yes I could move to a warmer area. I will some day, when my world allows me to do so.

Unhappily yours,
