My new buddy Mike Ferris, VP of Product Marketing at TaylorMade Golf, talked to me at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show last week in Orlando about the new TaylorMade R11S driver and fairway woods.

The new R11S series is quite different than last year’s R11.

Check it out:

Many thanks to Mike for all his time at the show.

I’ve always wanted to live in Rancho Santa Fe with a home which has a practice green and short game area and fantastic views.  The $7.095 million price might be a little bit out of a golf blogger’s range though.

Phil Mickelson is selling his pad in Rancho Santa Fe through agent Susan Bartow at www.SusanSellsLuxury.com.  Didn’t realize what effect missing the cut this past weekend at the Farmers would have (just a joke… take it easy).

Yesterday was quite a long day, over 14 hours between my departure at my hotel in Orlando to when I finally hit my driveway at home.  That included a four hour layover in Cincinnati.

It was a long day of travel, but the good news is that I finished editing ALL of my PGA Show interview videos during that time.  I’ll be uploading them and linking them daily for a bit.  Stay tuned.

Greetings from Cincinnati

Thanks to Lily Pad for the free wifi in the Cincinnati airport while I’m here for a four hour layover.  Yes, on a golf blogger budget I have to find the cheapest flights since there’s no corporate office to pay for my travel expenses, and that means layovers and strange flight schedules.

While here I’m editing my first videos from the PGA Show, which will be uploaded soon.  Stay tuned.

Here’s a shot of the landing of downtown Cincinnati, which is pretty neat.  If you click it, you can see a bigger version.
