Quickly checking in from St. Andrews. It is 12:33am local time. The sun is up from early in the morning until about 11:00pm, making it hard to go to sleep.
Must get some rest, but looking forward to playing the Castle course and the Jubilee course tomorrow. Times are fantastic and I’ll have many stories to blog about, including the most incredible par EVER.
I’ve found an Internet connection here at a pub in St. Andrews, Scotland. My pals and I have played the Old Course twice already. I have so many stories to tell but those will have to wait. Stay tuned and check out my St. Andrews photos.
My time here in the USA is drawing to a close. We board the flight to Scotland in 38 minutes. This may be my last post for a while, unless I find an internet connection in St. Andrews.
I hope to post some quick golf blogs from the home of golf, and some pics if I can. Otherwise, I’ll see you on July 7!
So my best bud Al and I are about to leave for St. Andrews on the red eye tonight. Today we decided to get a practice round in at Applebrook, not too far down the road from Aronomink and the PGA Tour’s current AT&T tournament.
Obviously the blimp pilot saw that me and my buddy Al were golfing and decided to bail on the Tour and fly over some much better golfers.
On the way to our Scotland practice round here in Philly, PA we saw a Barbie hanging from a bridge. Can you see her just below the right arrow of the clearance sign below?
Not sure what is up, but sure is funny.
