At the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show demo day last week, I stopped by Champ Spikes and checked out the new Fly tees, the Zarma six prong cushioned golf cleats and the Flix “divot repair instrument.”
I’m working on getting Champ to provide some prizes for fantasy golf this year, hopefully some Flix divot repair instruments with the HOG logo on them. Stay tuned on that.
At the 2012 PGA Show demo day last week I had a nice chat/interview with Stephen Boccieri about Boccieri Golf’s Secret Grips. They’re weighted grips, with interchangeable weights in the grip. Check it out.
Bridgestone Golf offers a live chat for golfers to ask about golf ball recommendations. In this video from the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show we watch Bridgestone’s “SeamlessJim” chat live, and ask him about his unique gig.
When I saw the Asher Death Grip golf glove, it made me (a non glove wearer) want to wear golf gloves! Any golf product with skulls and bones on it is good in my book, being a rock & roll musician. Then I learned that Asher is a local company here in Utah. My friend James Roundy, founder of Asher, has something good going! Check out my review of Asher’s gloves here, and enjoy my interview with James at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show below.
I had some fun talking to Wilson Golf Director of R&D Michael Vrska at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show. In the video here, we talk about Wilson’s super light DXi driver. And for the record, Michael is NOT a moose expert.
