Since 2007 I’ve been visiting the Frogger Golf booth at the PGA Merchandise Show. Over the years I’ve put many of the great Frogger products into my bag.  Their BrushPro is still my favorite golf accessory of all time.  Most useful without a doubt.

In this video we look at the new Frogger products for 2013:

  • Swing Hero training aid
  • Arc Angel putting aid
  • Golf Cart Poncho – portable/light cart cover

Cool And Convenient Golf Invention Reduces Practice Green Wear And Tear: Push N Putt

I’m rolling out my videos and posts one day at a time from the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show.  That way each one gets some good air time, rather than posting 100 of them at once.

Today’s feature is the Push N Putt.  This is a cool invention I found in the Inventor’s Area.  The Push N Putt is for practice greens and allows the player to push the top of the mini-flagstick to get the golf balls out of the hole.  Saves on wear and tear of the practice green. Very neat!

Kikkor Golf’s James Lepp Demonstrates The Saucer Box And Saucer Pass

kikkor_golfI’ve said it many times before and I’m going to say it again. The BEST thing about running this blog is not the gear or the golf, it is the cool people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.  Case in point here is my pal James Lepp, founder of Kikkor Golf.  You may know James for his “awesome” golf accomplishments, winning the NCAA Individual Championship in 2005 and most recently was the runner-up in Golf Channel’s Big Break Greenbrier.

James made his “saucer pass” golf shot famous on Big Break Greenbrier.  The Saucer Pass came about as a result of James’s hockey background combined with a need to find some way of improving his short game.  In the video below from the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show, James shows us the saucer pass as well as the cool new Kikkor saucer boxes.

I tried the saucer pass in the setup shown in the video and let me tell you the saucer chip-pass it is FAR from easy.  In fact, while aiming at the big box on the left, I toe-shanked it into the box on the right.

Another video from the Bridgestone Golf booth at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show.  The folks at Bridgestone are always on the cutting edge of digital media and here we see a demonstration of their new Live Video Chat.  In the video Orlando Golf Blogger Dave Lair is doing a live chat on the red phone.  No he’s not launching the nuclear weapons, just a Bridgestone e6 golf ball…
