I’m a big believer, fan, user, lover, homer for Kentwool socks. I’m wearing a pair of Kentwool Tour golf socks right now. There is not a more comfortable golf sock on this planet and I’m fairly sure several other planets as well. Kentwool makes dress dress/casual socks now also. The dress sock version is called the 19th Hole Collection.
The 19th Hole collection is made with the same fantastic wool that Kentwool is famous for. These are a little thinner than the golf socks but still very soft and comfortable.
You may be thinking that wool socks are too hot, as I did. Not the case with Kentwools. I get very hot in long socks, but not these.
I’m not a fan of dressing up. In fact I’m the crazy guy you see walking around Salt Lake on January 2nd in shorts when there are three feet of snow on the ground and the temps are 35 degrees below freezing. I pretty much dress up for weddings and funerals, and I’m not a big fan of either. At least I have the comfort advantage of the 19th Hole Collection.

Conclusion

Fairways Magazine
A nice side gig I do now and then is write some golf articles for Fairways Magazine, the official magazine of the Utah Golf Association. Fairways is a print mag which goes out to all 30,000 members of the UGA.
In the March 2013 issue I have a small article on Switch Belt which discusses the company’s last two appearances at the PGA Merchandise Show and what the future holds for them. Check it out.

Monday Finish – Arnold Palmer Invitational
The final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill was postponed because of rain and bad weather yesterday. Tiger Woods came into the final round with a two shot lead and after playing his first two holes in -1 yesterday, has a 3 shot lead over Keegan Bradley, Ken Duke, John Huh and Rickie Fowler.
Final round Monday coverage is on Golf Channel beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET on Golf Channel. Set your DVR!
Tavistock Cup
Following the Arnold Palmer Invitational Coverage is the first round of the Tavistock Cup. Because of the scheduling, the Tavistock Cup’s format has been reduced to an 18 hole singles stroke play format on Tuesday.
