Interesting newsletter from Tiger Woods
Tiger’s comeback
Tiger’s comeback date isn’t set, but he says it will depend on the birth of his 2nd child and if he’s ready.
Tiger Woods’ newsletter was quite interesting today. Many pundits, like Lee Trevino, have been saying that when Tiger comes back he’ll have to modify his swing to put less pressure on the left knee. He’ll have to sacrifice distance, giving him more accuracy.
Tiger is practicing “full bore” now, which I interpret as full swing.
More length?
Rather than cutting back on the power of his swing and the stress of the leg, Tiger seems to imply that with the new knee he’ll have even more power.

My best friend is THE MAN
Alan is my best friend. He and I grew up together. We’re like brothers. He moved away to Philly years ago, worked his way up the business ladder and started a beautiful family. We can go months without talking to each other and then we both can simultaneously say the same phrase word for word.
I have Alan to thank for many great things in my life. About 5 years ago, he told me to start blogging about golf. Years later, I’ve built one of the world’s best golf blogs, made hundreds of friends, played dozens of incredible golf courses, and met some of the most famous golfers in the world like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, John Daly, Mike Weir etc. Because of my blog I even got to play golf with George Brett. I’ve hung out with Charles Barkely, John Elway, Mario Lemieux, met women from The Big Break (Debbie “DD,” Ashley Prang) and made connections even top CEO’s would envy.
I have another thing to add to my friend Alan’s thank you list. This one is the helmet you see pictured here. It’s an autographed Univerisity of Utah football helmet from the Sugar Bowl where my Utes completed the perfect 13-0 season. Anyone who knows me or follows my blog knows I’m a HUGE UTE FAN. Hell I even have Ute golf shoes. This helmet was signed by the whole team during the Sugar Bowl. When I opened this box I was in complete shock and for the 2nd time this year got goose bumps opening a package which came in the mail.
Alan my friend, my brother from a different mother, I THANK YOU.

I’ve posted hundreds of videos and to date I haven’t had a “golf video” category. I’ve fixed that omission. Now in the category list you’ll see Golf Videos listed. It will take me a while to update the posts to reflect in that category so stay tuned.
