Since Megan Heckeroth, HOG contributor, has played in a Women’s U.S. Open I thought it would be nice to get a quick take from her. I just asked her to give us a quick paragraph on her thoughts:

“I thought that this year’s U.S. Women’s Open was very exciting with all the great players at the top of the leaderboard. Then having an 18 hole playoff on Monday with Annika and Patty.I wasn’t able to watch much of the Open during the weekend but made sure that I watched the playoff. It was really great to see Annika play so well and with so much confidence. You could tell that she was in a groove and nothing was going to get in her way. It was unfortunate that Pat got off to a rough start but this game is about the grind and anything can happen so it was great to see her stay focused and never give up. I loved watching two great players that have a lot of history together and respect each other, fight for something that they both want so very much.”

Cheers,
Meg
