mastersI’m tuned into the live video streams on my iPad and desktop machines watching the Masters. But I could have sworn I was watching the Bob Hope Desert Classic. Scores are continuing to be very low, lots of red numbers on the leader board.

K.J. Choi is currently in the lead at -8 after six holes. Y.E. Yang and Ricky Barnes are at -6 (through 10 and 8 respectively).

First round co-leader McIlroy hasn’t begun his 2nd round yet.

Fred Couples’ back must be feeling okay for the moment, as he has birdied #2, #4 and #7 to reach -4 through eight holes. Can his back hold out? I doubt it but I hope so.

Gary Woodland is under way and is at -4 through 4 holes.

Phil Mickelson birdied #2 but made bogeys on #3 and #5. He has lost a stroke to par today and is at -1 through the 5th hole.

Ian Woosnam and Henrik Stenson are stinking it up at +11 and +12 through 14 and 8 holes respectively.

Tiger Woods has not yet begun his 2nd round.
