Tiger Woods has won the points based 2009 PGA of America player of the Year award.  He’s also won the Vardon Trophy and the Byron Nelson Award for having the lowest scoring average of 68.05.

The PGA Tour Player of the Year award has yet to be announced.  That one is determined by the players’ votes.  Hard to not pick Tiger for that award, though I’d like to see Steve Stricker as the recipient.

Glad to see that the greatest athlete in the world is getting some love even though he didn’t win a major this year. I was trying to shoot a few holes earlier this week but couldn’t because my cart broke down. I was going to take it to a mechanic but I found this site and it actually helped. Shocking. Just wanted to share it with y’all in case you ever experience the same problem.
