Thanks to my pal Golf Blogger for this tip. A man was arrested following the conclusion of the Masters tournament for going under the ropes and trying to steal some sand with a cup. He had been drinking heavily. When he was spotted, the man took off and a foot chase ensued. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
You can’t outrun a security force on a hilly golf course when you’ve been drinking heavily.
Do you think they took his badges? Uh yeah. Imagine if he was someone who used another person’s badges and those were revoked. Ouch.
I’m just glad they didn’t catch me this week. I stole “accidentally acquired” a pine cone from Amen Corner.
