Wow how about this group?  Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer are paired up Thursday for the first round of the Dubai Desert Classic.  There are all sorts of world ranking implications, depending on where the players finish.  I’ll post the Dubai Desert Classic TV times and channels soon.

Tiger wins regardless of the outcome

Regardless of whether or not Tiger wins this tournament or even makes the cut, he’s the true winner.  He’ll be pocketing a $3 million appearance fee for showing up.

I’d like to save the United Arab Emirates a few bucks and offer myself for this position.  I’d do it for less dough than Tiger.  Let me know.  My clubs are ready.

no matter-what-when or where–Tiger Woods IS GOLF!!!! I’m in my
70’s-I have never watched golf until Tiger came along.I liked watching
him grow-up-Dad in tow-to be the best golf player-ever.I’m not interested in what he is wearing-who he is dating-what his extra activities
are-I’m interested in watching him play golf.

Tiger is such a big draw. Every year we’ve had this event it has not been as exciting as it has been this year. I hope Tiger does well.

This is an awesome pairing! I am a huge fan of the PGA Tour’s focus this year on putting together marquee pairings for the opening rounds, and it seems based on this that the European Tour may be doing the same thing. It makes the early rounds more interesting to watch and gives the tournament a little extra buzz. Tiger saved himself today with the eagle on his last hole!
