Wow there are some very surprising results during this year’s FedEx Cup Playoffs so far, with two more tournaments to go.  Neither Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson are even in the top ten in points.

FedEx Cup Top Five

1. Matt Kuchar
2. Charlie Hoffman
3. Steve Stricker
4. Jason Day
5. Luke Donald

Charlie Hoffman found the zone yesterday with a 62 to pull away from the field and win the Deutsche Bank, vaulting him from 59th 2nd in the FedEx Cup standings.  Despite that, I doubt Corey Pavin will pick Charlie for the Ryder Cup unless perhaps he stays hot for the next two events.

The big question about Charlie, is if he and Rickie Fowler go to the same hair stylist?

I don’t think Pavin picks Hoffman although maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea, there needs to be something said for playing well at the right time.

  2. Kathy says:

Nope. Neither goes to hair stylist at all!
