One response to “And the winner is…”

  1. Right after Brandt Snedker started with an amazing 61 in the Buick Invitational it was clear that this lad belonged here. With nearly $3 million dollars he was the clear choice for he rookie of the year and it obviously has been a great debut season for him on the PGA Tour.

He also recorded his first PGA tour victory which propelled him to a career high rnking in the mid 50’s. His performance in the majors was also creditable with decent. He recorded his best finish in the majors at the PGA Championship where he finished tied 18th a wonderful finish for a rookie.

In 29 events he played , he made the cut on 23 occasions and had 13 top 25 finishes out of that. Most players pass the test of the rookie season convincingly with hardly any pressure on them. But now that he has the Rookie player of the year a lot of people will be following his progress and it will be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure.
