Champions Tour
John Cook notched his first Champions Tour victory in his second start at the AT&T Championship. Cook beat my new pal Mark O’Meara by two shots.
PGA Tour
My pal and neighbor Mike Weir (see pic of Weir, me and my two youngest kids) finally got a victory, ending his drought which dates back to the 2004 season. He won the “Fry’s Open.” Man these tournament titles are getting a little too commercialized. Anyway… Congrats to Mike. He’s a very cool cat.
