Big surprise in the world of golf… Tiger Woods won his 9th player of the year. Tiger’s closest pursuer was Phil Mickelson, but Lefty had about half the total player of the year points that Tiger did. In short, it wasn’t even close.
Tiger is also in the lead for the Vardon trophy, the award for lowest scoring average on tour (minimum 60 rounds).
