Tiger Woods to take a 2.5 month break after Presidents Cup

Tiger Woods won’t be playing in the Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda. He’ll be replaced by Jim Furyk.

After playing in the Presidents Cup in a couple of weeks Tiger will be taking a 2.5 month break from golf, to rest and spend time with his wife and new baby. Wish I could play 15 tour events, take 2.5 months off at a time, and still rake in over $100 Million per year.

Tiger will return at the Target World Challenge in December.

Yeah, Tiger deserves a break, even though it’s such a paradigm shift from my world, where I usually take a break TO play golf as opposed to take a break from it.
