Are you watching golf in HD? HOLY SMOKES IT IS AWESOME!
I’ve got a 42″ plasma and I haven’t been too thrilled with the quality on comcast since I got my HD comcast unit about six months ago. WELL they neglected to tell me that the HD channels are in the 600’s until this week when I complained that the quality isn’t any better.
HOLY SMOKES what a difference now that I’m watching Tiger’s tournament in HD. WOW… Even the sound is better.
The shots of the course and greens are amazing. You can see the grain in the green and the spike marks. You can see the dimples on the ball with great detail. You can see the pieces of lint sticking to the grease in Nick Faldo’s hair.
I watched Men In Black on HD last night and the quality was so good I thought I could jump right into the poors in Tommy Lee Jones’ face.
Man what a difference. What really sucks is I had HD for The Masters but didn’t know I had to tune into different channels.
I STRONGLY recommend HD for watching golf.

Unfortunately I think this will be similar to when the CD came out. I could no longer listen to records or cassettes. It’ll be hard to watch standard broadcasts anymore.
Tony, if you need any help with HD-related stuff, just let me know. I probably know more about HD than golf!
