My “other” site The Golf Space at www.TheGolfSpace.com has complete golf scores, golf stats and golf handicapping. All free of course. I shot a very surprising 71 yesterday at Wingpointe, a tough links style Aurthur Hills designed course here in town. I punched my round into The Golf Space game tracker to see my stats.

It’s interesting to note the stats that go into a good round. Sometimes it’s great putting. Sometimes it’s getting up and down and saving par. The most notable would be in the ball striking categories for this particular round. I was 11/14 fairways for 79% and 15/18 greens in regulation for a whopping 83%. The strange thing was my swing felt like an unfolding lawn chair, out of balance and all over the map.

Here are the stats from my Golf Space game tracker:

i’m envious of such nice numbers. if only i could put up numbers that were half as good, i would have won the tournament i played at bonneville. i’ll have to wait till the next time i’m in SLC…maybe get a round out at the country club too.

hope it warms up for you guys.

    cheers.

  2. What tournament did you play at Bonney? That’s a course I play every Thursday. I bet the greens gave you fits. They look simple, but they’re not…
