Golfer stabbed in course argument over slow play. May lose leg…

This is a bizarre story.  A golfer was allegedly attacked at a Texas golf course when he asked to play through a slower group in front of him.  An argument ensued and the victim was stabbed in the leg with the shaft of a club which was broken during the argument.  The victim’s femoral artery was punctured twice, making the prospects losing the leg high.

This is simply insane.  I don’t really know what else to say about this.  Simply insane.

Here’s a news feed with a few stories which go into more detail.

Proof that the world is going to hell in a hand basket. It amazes me that someone would actually start fighting over something like this. I get pretty aggravated but come on.

To think that someone took being asked to play through that badly that they had to resort to fighting, let alone stabbing, is unreal. I have been asked to play through and my attitude is go for it. Its better than being on a fairway or a green and having you hit balls into me.
