Feherty is a winner, at least on TV

The Feherty show has me watching TGC for more than just live Tour golf again...

I’ve been a David Feherty and Gary McCord fan for years.  I hear McCord mentioned my blog in the latest version of his book Golf For Dummies, but got my URL wrong. Oops.

I don’t watch much TV at all, mostly the bigger golf tournaments and my Utah Utes football team.  That damn USC game Saturday was one of the strangest games I’ve ever seen, but it is nice to be in the Pac 12 now.

I’m drifting a bit from my point, which is that the Feherty Show is a great show.  I used to watch some of the other shows on the Golf Channel like Big Break, but I got a little tired of hearing “someone’s going home.”  So I limited my viewing on TGC to PGA Tour golf tournaments.  But the Feherty show has me back watching more than just PGA Tour tournaments or the occasional LPGA or Champions events.  Even my wife, who doesn’t even know which end of a putter to hold, likes the show.

I know Feherty didn’t win much when he played on tour, but the show is a big win and I’ll keep watching.

I think David has a great down to earth approach to interviewing. He gets the best out of all his guests.
