Seve Ballesteors dies at 54

Just before bed tonight I heard the news.  The reports are trickling in now via numerous news sources.  It appears that Seve Ballesteros has finally lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 54.

This is truly a sad day in golf and sports for us to lose such a classy and loved man.  Even today my buddies call miracle pars and nearly impossible shots a “Seve.”  He was so fun to watch back in the day.

Rest in peace Seve.  Your memory will be eternal.

  1. Ralph says:

Truly one of the greats. Too bad he is not always included with the list of greatest golfers – Nicklaus, Palmer, Woods, Snead, Hogan, etc. Seve should always be in that group. He would be winning a lot on the Champions Tour and it would be a joy to still see him play. God bless you Seve.
