Being a world famous golf blogger has its advantages… the big money, the hot women… but best of all is getting to check out killer golf apparel. Case in point today are some shorts and a polo from Jack Nicklaus apparel that aren’t even on their website yet.
Retail price on these two is extremely affordable. The polo is at $24.99 and the shorts $29.99.
I’ll be testing these out and reviewing them soon so stay tuned.
I’ve just started my rigorous testing battery on a new golf apparel line exclusively available at Global Golf. The “Tourney” brand is licensed by Tharanco Lifestyles. Here are the items I’m trying out.
Tourney Redan Shorts
1/4 Zip Outerwear
I’ve worn all but the 1/4 zip outerwear so far. I won’t be wearing the 1/4 zip for a while since the temps are in the 105 range here right now!
This brand is solid so far and extremely affordable. I’m talking nice polos that cost as little as 1/3 and even 1/4 the cost of other brands.
Stay tuned for my full review soon.
Welcome. Welcome to Tattoo Golf, one of my favorite golf apparel accessory brands. Rock & Roll attitude. Skulls. Unique styles. Creative graphics. Welcome.
Below is the very sharp Hazard ProCool Men’s Golf Shirt. This polo features a TG chest skull, small skulls under the collar, and a plaid pattern which is a cross between a Scottish kilt and some kind of trucker design. Scottish trucker kilt skulls. Brilliant.
- 3.8-ounce, 100% polyester pique body, back and sleeves with full sublimated stripe front panel
- Self-fabric collar
- Tag-free label
- 3-button placket
- Men’s size Small through 3XL
- Available in 3 colors (who are we kidding though? Black duh!)
- ProCool fabric technology keeps the wearer cool and dry
I’ve been really digging this performance polo. Naturally as a rock & roll musician and metal head, I love the color and design, especially the skulls. This is a very unique piece. I love rocking this piece at the country clubs around town. Fully compliant, since it has a collar!
I love wearing this baby to the office too and around town. It catches a lot of eyes and is a great conversation starter.
The polo doesn’t stop at its looks. The performance is fantastic. First it is very flexible and comfortable. During the golf swing, or clicking my mouse when writing golf blog posts, this polo reacts and doesn’t resist. No binding or pulling. Full range of motion.
The ProCool fabric is great. The polo naturally helps wick moisture away to the outside of the shirt, where it evaporates. Fabric that helps you stay dry and cool under the collar.
Ring Around The Collar
I dare you to show me a cooler collar on a golf shirt. Maybe one made out of $100 bills or something? I haven’t seen one.
Match this polo up with a pair of Skullicious Tattoo Golf Lucky 13 ProCool Golf Shorts. What an ensemble.
At $59 the Hazard ProCool Men’s Golf Shirt is a great deal. Pick one up for yourself. Pick up two. Pick one up for dad too, regardless of whether or not he is a golfer. He’ll love it. Father’s Day is coming up.

I’ve been working on this review and thought perhaps I should wait in light of the Tiger Woods DUI news over the holiday weekend. Timing is everything I guess. Say hello to the Panda Tiger tee by Press Golf.
T-shirts are the new rage in golf. I’ve been receiving contacts from many t-shirt makers asking for me to review their shirts. These days the millennials who golf are often wearing skinny jeans and t-shirts. I’m old school though. Collared shirts only for me on the course, but off the course I’m down with anything which is comfortable. Plus I don’t think my thighs would fit in the waist of skinny jeans.
Press Golf offers fun golf t-shirts and other products, even baby onesies.

The fabric combination and weaving is soooo comfortable and luxurious feeling. Press Golf tee shirts are my new gamer for evenings at HOG World Headquarters.
I’m sporting a different Press Golf T this morning as I write this post. Stay tuned for my blog post on “Panda Phil.”
A new fad in golf is t-shirts, for the millennial crowd I suppose. Maybe it’s the Top Golf thing. A new brand in the T space is “Bogey Is Life.” Bogey Is Life makes a few comfy casual apparel pieces like this one below, as well ask long sleeves, tank tops and hats.
Bogey Is Life
I’ve been enjoying this T around HOG World Headquarters and the fabric is super soft and comfortable. It’s a “tri-blend” of 50% polyester, 25% cotton and 25% rayon.
The name is inspired by the creator of the brand, an average golfer. Average golfers shoot bogey golf and probably worse if they played by the rules!
At only $24.99 direct from the Bogey Is Life website, this is a great golf related Father’s Day gift idea that dad can wear on or off the course. For us golfers who shoot better than bogey golf though I wonder when the “Birdie Is Life” version comes out?
