Is the local 2010 golf season finally over? What a difference a day makes.

I’ve played some form of golf for the last three days here in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Golf on December 12, 13 & 14 (9, 18, 18).  Those may be the last rounds of the year though.  Yesterday the course was green and today it is covered in snow.

Left: Yesterday - Right: Today

Last year the final round was 12/6. The next time I played a round of golf was the day after the 2010 PGA Merchandise show in Orlando, two months later.

It is nice to play golf this time of year, barring freezing to death.  Those few rounds will help come spring, when the swing has gone “x” weeks in hibernation.  I’m fairly satisfied with the scores from the three rounds, 37, 77, 77.  When I have 40 layers of clothing which restrict swing flexibility,  and my hands are freezing, shooting any score in the 70′s is good in my book.

Next tournament, 2010 Christmas Classic

Last year I won my first Christmas Classic tournament championship.  I’ve been happily carrying around the trophy for a year and I’m looking forward to becoming the first ever player to successfully defend this championship.
